Visual Storytelling

→ Narrative poster series

This poster series explores migration, language, and identity through personal narrative and graphic systems. Drawing on lived experiences of relocation and cross-cultural communication—changing addresses, mispronounced names, multilingual environments, and everyday city routines—Lucy (Yinxue) Zou combines typography, archival imagery, and layered structures to translate small, repeated moments into visual form, treating the poster as both public communication and a record of belonging.

The series has been exhibited in university settings and submitted to multiple design and art awards.
